How did you get into lactation support? After I had a completely empowering, positive and fulfilling experience with the birth of my son I had a traumatic experience with breastfeeding. I spent 12 weeks in pain and couldn’t find a solution on my own. This experience started me on my lactation education journey which includes a total of 46 months breastfeeding my two children, over 150 hours of breastfeeding management and counseling courses and lead to my certification as an International Breastfeeding Consultant (IBCLC) in July 2010. I am happy to meet with you in the hospital or at your home. Most issues can be resolved with an hour of education, compassion, and support. |
